In a heartwarming moment, Le Sserafim granted their first-ever wish to Grace, a devoted fan from Ohio battling an autoimmune disorder. Grace’s dream of meeting the group came true during the lighting ceremony where she was able to meet Sakura, Kim Chae-won, Huh Yun-jin, Kazuha, and Hong Eun-chae in person. Yunjin, shared her excitement to be part of the ceremony.

“It’s so so special to be lighting up the skyline with a color that’s so dear to us. To introduce the color, it’s Fearless Blue or officially Pantone 7453C.  It’s a light blue that symbolizes the highest temperature of a burning star.  It represents passion, independence, strength, hope, and dreams, which I think also brings more meaning to our collaboration with the Make-A-Wish Foundation today.”

The Empire State Building, long known for lighting up in tribute to important causes and events, provided the perfect stage for this celebration. As one of New York City’s most iconic landmarks, the building’s towering presence symbolizes hope and possibility, aligning perfectly with the spirit of the Make-A-Wish collaboration.

Le Sserafim is a South Korean girl group formed by Source Music. The group consists of five members: Sakura, Kim Chae-won, Huh Yun-jin, Kazuha, and Hong Eun-chae.

Le Sserafim debuted on May 2, 2022, with the extended play Fearless, which broke the record for the highest-selling debut album by a K-pop girl group in first-day sales. It was followed in October with their second extended play, Antifragile, which became the group’s first release to sell over a million copies and made them the fastest K-pop girl group to debut on the US Billboard 200. Both EPs’ title tracks reached the top ten of South Korea’s Circle Digital Chart and were certified platinum for streaming in South Korea and Japan.

NYC Second Chance Rescue raised critical funds to help continue its mission of providing Second Chances to critically ill, injured and abused animals. The entire event was sponsored, and each ticket purchased, and auction item sold went directly to the cause. This life-saving event will surely provide second chances for those waiting for help.
